Commercial Contract Manager (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Contract Manager to join M&G on a six‑month contract. The role will be based in Stirling (with flexibility for Reading or London) and will operate in a hybrid model, spending two days per week on site. You will support the technology supplier landscape, ensuring contracts are governed, commercially optimised and aligned with business, technology and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic technology supplier contracts, overseeing performance, risk, cost and contractual obligations.
• Lead supplier governance activities, tracking issues, risks and service improvements and ensuring timely resolution.
• Support contract renewals, extensions, variations and Statements of Work in close collaboration with Procurement and business stakeholders.
• Provide commercial insight and recommendations to inform decision‑making and drive value.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risk while seeking opportunities for cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial contract management, preferably within technology or procurement environments.
• Strong understanding of supplier governance, risk management and contract lifecycle processes.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
