Commercial Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to join Roche Diagnostics' Commercial Contracts team on a 12‑month contract. Working in a hybrid model (two days onsite in Burgess Hill), you will provide commercial contract advice, negotiate agreements, and help mitigate risk across a range of tender and procurement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support pre‑tender engagement by advising business areas on contract landscape and potential risks.
• Review multiple large tender opportunities, assess risks, and draft clarifications to strengthen submissions.
• Coordinate and draft tender submissions, ensuring unacceptable risks are addressed.
• Review, draft, negotiate and execute commercial contracts with customers, highlighting risk areas and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and variations.
• Provide ad‑hoc guidance on public procurement legislation and respond to contractual queries.

Required profile

• Strong team player with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven ability to analyse complex contracts and identify commercial and legal risks.
• Experience in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, preferably in a healthcare or diagnostics environment.
• Solid understanding of public procurement processes and legislation.
