Commercial Contracts Senior Lead

About the role

As our next Commercial Contracts Senior Lead, you’ll play a key role in building the UK’s go‑to home improvement marketplace. You’ll own negotiation, management and continuous improvement of strategic supplier agreements while shaping the Supplier Hub – a modern, tech‑enabled home for selecting, contracting, onboarding and managing every supplier.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate high‑value contracts with critical partners across all business areas.
• Lead daily processes with AI‑built tools, constantly improving and innovating.
• Deliver streamlined, best‑in‑class solutions to drive growth and optimise spend.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish clear commercial supplier‑management strategy and processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience negotiating complex commercial contracts with Tier 1 and strategically important suppliers.
• Proven track record of managing and improving contract‑lifecycle systems, governance frameworks and scalable processes.
• Hands‑on (or eager) experience building AI‑assisted workflows, automations or agents and connecting platforms, data and workflows across teams.
• Strong stakeholder influence, comfortable partnering with Legal, Finance, Technology and C‑suite leaders.
• Commercially minded builder who challenges the status quo and enjoys testing and simplifying processes.
