Commercial & Export Control Apprentice

About the role

Join Airbus Helicopters UK’s Commercial team in Oxford as a Commercial & Export Control Apprentice. You’ll work alongside the Export Control Officer, gaining hands‑on experience in business development, sales support and compliance with export regulations for military and dual‑use equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing commercial proposals and quotations for helicopter sales and services.
• Maintain and update customer and prospect data in internal systems.
• Support contract management activities, including documentation and tracking.
• Liaise with cross‑functional departments and external stakeholders to gather technical and regulatory information.
• Help the Export Control Officer monitor compliance with export licences and regulations.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or current student seeking an apprenticeship in a commercial environment.
• Strong interest in aviation, defence and international trade.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn export control procedures and commercial processes.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
