Commercial Finance Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Leeds team. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting while providing financial insight to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and performance reporting.
• Deliver variance analysis with clear commercial commentary.
• Support monthly KPI reviews with senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models and planning tools.
• Produce insightful reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to support strategic decision‑making.
• Respond to ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial insight.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Experience in FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis capabilities.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused analytical approach with attention to detail.
