About the role

The Commercial Finance Business Partner will join a rapidly expanding company with a £20 million turnover, supporting senior leadership to drive growth and strategic investment. This commercial‑focused finance role blends data‑driven analysis with business partnering to influence decisions across operational and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight.
• Produce analytical reports that underpin strategic decisions and investment evaluations.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for future performance.
• Identify commercial risks and propose practical mitigation solutions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies, leveraging AI and modern technology.
• Present financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, QBE or strong part‑qualified accountant.
• Proven experience in a fast‑growing or scaling business.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a solutions‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Financial modelling and forecasting expertise.
