Commercial Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Commercial Finance Business Partner will sit at the heart of a private‑equity backed consumer business, supporting senior leaders across commercial, operational, property and clinical functions. The role focuses on value creation, strategic investment decisions and business performance across a multi‑site operation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive strategic growth and investment initiatives.
• Build financial models and business cases to evaluate commercial opportunities.
• Provide rigorous analysis and challenge around investment decisions and resource allocation.
• Support assessment of new site opportunities, expansion projects and business improvement initiatives.
• Deliver insight and recommendations through detailed financial and operational performance analysis.
• Monitor returns on investment and evaluate ongoing strategic projects.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and property teams to identify profitability improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning activities.
• Prepare presentations and analysis for senior leadership and investors.
• Develop reporting and insight to enable effective decision‑making across the organisation.

Required profile

• Background in a Transaction Services team at a Big Four or leading advisory firm (highly desirable).
• Experience in FP&A or commercial finance within an industry setting.
• Alternatively, a Big Four audit background with subsequent industry exposure.
