Commercial Finance Controller – Generics, Rx & Specialty

About the role

The Commercial Finance Controller for Generics, Rx and Specialty will drive financial performance and support strategic decisions across the business. Reporting to the UK CFO and working closely with Gx/Rx and Sx Directors, you will be at the centre of finance operations, providing insight and guidance to sales and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead performance agendas with insights, challenging and guiding Sales & Marketing stakeholders.
• Manage monthly business reporting for Gx, Rx and Sx, including P&L analysis, performance reviews and risk/opportunity identification.
• Drive proactive engagement in key business processes such as S&OP and new product launches.
• Lead the financial planning process for Gx, Rx and Sx and present strategies to the CEO and CFO.
• Ensure balance‑sheet control across rebates, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Conduct generics pricing, rebate agreement and tender review analysis.
• Perform scenario modelling for market share and patient acquisition in specialty products.

Required profile

• CIMA or ACA qualification with solid experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• High‑level communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Strong time‑management and the ability to work autonomously.
