Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded finance professional to join a well‑established business in Milton Keynes. In this highly visible position you will partner with senior stakeholders, turning financial data into actionable commercial insight that drives performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational and commercial teams to support business performance.
• Produce insightful financial analysis, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
• Deliver KPI reporting and performance dashboards.
• Provide financial challenge and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Investigate performance variances and support decision‑making through robust analysis.
• Collaborate across finance and the wider business to improve processes and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance commercial performance.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
• Experience partnering with non‑finance stakeholders.
• Proven ability in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in commercial analysis and performance reporting.
• Comfort presenting financial information to influence decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
