Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing business in Milton Keynes to hire a Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will act as a trusted business partner, delivering insightful analysis that drives strategic decisions and improves performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to enhance business performance.
• Provide financial analysis, reporting and forecasting to support strategic decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting across multiple business areas.
• Analyse revenue, margins, costs and profitability, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Develop KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Support pricing, investment appraisals and commercial business cases.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and controls.
• Present financial insights clearly to senior leadership and non‑finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Commercial Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner or similar role.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical skills.
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with confidence to challenge and add value.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
