Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to join the Commercial Finance team supporting a sizeable retail estate in North Birmingham. This highly visible business‑partnering role will help drive commercial performance through insightful analysis, strategic decision‑making and financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior operational stakeholders to improve trading performance, profitability and commercial decision‑making.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reporting process across the retail division.
• Analyse store performance, identifying opportunities to improve sales, margins and operational efficiency.
• Develop business cases and financial appraisals to support capital investment and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Previous experience in Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
