Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join a growing organisation in the North West. You will act as a strategic finance partner, providing insight, challenge and decision support across commercial operations, sales, pricing, supply and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage financial performance across a commercial business area, delivering monthly reporting, variance analysis and profitability insights.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and long‑term financial planning, identifying opportunities to improve margins and cost efficiency.
• Partner with commercial teams to optimise pricing strategies, analyse market trends and evaluate contracts, tenders and rebates.
• Provide financial modelling and analysis for key business decisions, assessing customer profitability and new investment projects.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence strategic decision‑making and drive measurable commercial results.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a commercial finance role within a fast‑moving business environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior commercial and operational leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and influence cross‑functional teams.
