Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

Join HC-One Ltd. as a Commercial Finance Manager and help shape the commercial success of a portfolio of care homes across the Midlands, South and Wales. You will partner with operational leaders to improve occupancy, strengthen financial performance and support data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial and financial reviews, analysing occupancy, revenue, profitability and operational performance.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and long‑term financial planning for the assigned portfolio.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors, Area Directors and Home Managers to develop occupancy strategies and pricing decisions.
• Build financial capability of Home Managers by interpreting performance data and guiding commercial decisions.
• Work closely with commissioners and external stakeholders, providing market intelligence that informs regional and national strategy.
• Contribute to Group reporting, planning and wider commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Experienced commercial finance professional with a strong partnership mindset.
• Proven ability to influence operational leaders and deliver measurable performance improvements.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, field‑based environment with regular travel.
• Strong analytical and commercial insight to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
