Commercial Finance Manager – UK & Ireland

About the role

This Commercial Finance Manager role supports the UK and Ireland business of a fast‑growing, product‑led B2B distribution and e‑commerce group. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will partner with senior commercial, sales and operations leaders to drive insight‑based decisions that improve growth, margin and cash performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial and operational teams to influence strategic and day‑to‑day decisions.
• Provide financial insight on sales performance, margin, profitability, cash collection and return on invested capital.
• Identify risks, opportunities and performance trends early and recommend clear actions.
• Support the development and execution of local market plans, focusing on growth, margin improvement and operational performance.
• Lead performance review processes and embed a data‑led approach to business planning.
• Collaborate with central finance on reporting, audit coordination, controls and finance operations.
• Improve the quality, relevance and commercial impact of financial information across the business.
• Assist operational improvement initiatives across the UK and Ireland, including process and performance standards.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong commercial finance or business‑partnering experience, preferably in a product‑led, multi‑site environment such as B2B distribution, wholesale, retail, logistics, e‑commerce or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
