Commercial Gas Engineer – Cambridge

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team in Cambridge. You will work on a variety of commercial sites, delivering maintenance, repairs and installations of gas systems while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Perform gas safety inspections and ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations.
• Diagnose faults, conduct fault‑finding and complete accurate job reports and certifications.
• Build strong relationships with clients and site representatives.
• Participate in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota as required.

Required profile

• Current Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1) with relevant commercial gas modules.
• Valid Gas Safe registration.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
