Commercial Gas Engineer (Mobile) – Chester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities‑management organisation. This full‑time, mobile position covers a portfolio of large retail sites across the North West, ensuring gas systems are safe, compliant and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs on commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults, carry out gas testing, purging and commissioning where required.
• Produce accurate service reports, certifications and job documentation.
• Support wider facilities‑maintenance tasks and participate in the regional on‑call rota.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial, Mobile or Heating Engineer, with a mix of domestic and commercial work welcomed.
• Relevant gas qualifications (e.g., CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1/1A) are desirable.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
