Commercial Insurance Account Executive (New Business)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Executive (New Business) to join our independent brokerage in Horsham. The role is office‑based and focuses on generating new commercial insurance business and building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new commercial insurance clients through outbound calls, networking and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities across a wide range of commercial risks, including higher‑value cases.
• Collaborate with in‑house claims and account handling teams to deliver seamless service.
• Meet or exceed agreed new‑business targets and maximise commission earnings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in commercial insurance broking.
• Proven track record in outbound business development or new‑business generation.
• Strong relationship‑building and client‑facing communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, office sales environment.

Required skills

• Commercial insurance knowledge.
