Commercial Insurance Account Handler

About the role

This role involves delivering high-quality broking services to a growing portfolio of commercial clients in Watford. You will support business growth through excellent client service, renewals management and cross-selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing commercial clients.
• Manage policy renewals and service a broad mix of client risks.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate and secure appropriate cover.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver risk presentations to clients and insurers.
• Handle claims and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience in a broking environment.
• CII Level C qualification.
• Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-managed with effective time-management and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Commercial insurance knowledge (e.g., Commercial Combined, Construction, Tech, Cyber, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, Power, Property Development).
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Office suite.
