Commercial Insurance Sales Executive

About the role

We are partnering with one of the UK’s largest independent insurance brokers to expand their Commercial Insurance team. The Commercial Insurance Sales Executive will work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, supporting SME clients across trades, construction, retail and hospitality. This role offers clear pathways to senior and leadership positions as the business doubles its headcount.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a high volume of inbound new business enquiries
• Generating and delivering competitive insurance quotations
• Converting leads into sales and achieving KPIs
• Building and maintaining a consistent sales pipeline
• Developing strong product knowledge across commercial insurance
• Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality standards are met

Required profile

• Previous sales experience (insurance preferred, but other sales backgrounds considered)
• Highly motivated and target‑driven approach
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
• Ability to thrive in a call‑centre style, high‑volume environment
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Proactive, ambitious mindset with desire to progress

Required skills

• Experience with Open GI insurance platform
• Experience with Acturis system
• Familiarity with internal insurance platforms

• Basic salary £27,000‑£35,000 depending on experience
• Uncapped monthly bonus (typical £600‑£1,200)
