Commercial Investment Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Investment Manager to join a fast‑growing organisation in South Manchester. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and the Chief Investment Officer, you will provide commercial finance expertise and support the company’s investment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver commercially‑led finance analysis and reporting, reporting to the Group Financial Controller.
• Support the Commercial and Group investment portfolio through investment modelling of new opportunities and ongoing financial compliance.
• Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Managers, presenting proposals to Investment Committees.
• Assist with day‑to‑day accounting and regular management reporting as needed.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis and contribute to special projects.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience in commercial analytics and financial modelling.
• Ability to support senior management and communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non‑finance audiences.
• Track record of working under tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skill set.
