Commercial Kitchen Installation Engineer

About the role

This is a great opportunity to join a well‑established commercial catering equipment installer that is experiencing rapid growth. The company seeks engineers who take pride in delivering high‑quality installations for large catering clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install full commercial kitchens and catering equipment, including gas, electrical, water, plumbing and pipe work.
• Work on new‑build and refurbishment projects for restaurants, care homes, hotels and similar venues across London and the Essex border.
• Commission equipment and connect all services, often staying on site for one to four weeks.
• Occasionally travel for short‑term assignments, including up to 2‑3 nights away per year.

Required profile

• Reside in North London, East London or Essex.
• Hold a recognised electrical qualification and have solid electrical installation experience.
• Demonstrate strong plumbing and pipe‑work skills.
• Be physically fit for moderate lifting and manual handling.

What we offer

• Basic salary £45,000‑£50,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Overtime pay for days out of the house longer than 10 hours.

• Weekly overtime of approximately 5 hours and optional call‑out rota.
