Commercial Litigation Associate – Leeds

About the role

Join a leading UK disputes team in Leeds, working on high‑value commercial litigation and international arbitration matters across multiple sectors. The role offers exposure to complex, cross‑border disputes and the chance to develop expertise beyond traditional commercial litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on a diverse caseload of commercial contract, corporate, financial services, civil fraud and cross‑border disputes.
• Manage matters from pre‑action strategy through trial or resolution, coordinating with the firm’s international network.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business‑development initiatives.
• Take increasing responsibility within the team, supporting senior partners and junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Qualified to practice in England & Wales with 4‑6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in complex commercial litigation and/or international arbitration.
• Ability to manage high‑value disputes with minimal supervision.
• Commercially minded with excellent technical drafting abilities.
• Motivated to build client relationships and engage in business development.
• Collaborative, ambitious and eager to develop within a top‑tier international practice.
