Commercial Litigation Paralegal – Chester

About the role

Join a highly regarded Commercial Litigation team in Chester and gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of complex disputes. You will support experienced solicitors, develop technical expertise, and build a solid foundation for a career in commercial litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on commercial and contractual disputes, property litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, and intellectual property matters.
• Support all stages of litigation, from case opening to hearings, mediations and client meetings.
• Prepare files for hearings, attend where required and produce accurate attendance notes.
• Handle new enquiries, manage case administration and monitor deadlines.
• Update the case management system and ensure files remain compliant.
• Provide regular client updates and maintain high standards of client care.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in a litigation or dispute resolution environment.
• Excellent written communication and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine interest in commercial litigation.
• Professional, client‑focused approach.
