About the role

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to join its expanding Manchester disputes practice. The role offers strategic influence over the direction of the team and the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex, high‑value commercial disputes, including contractual, shareholder, partnership, professional negligence, fraud and business protection matters.
• Work closely with an established team of specialists to deliver high‑quality legal solutions.
• Lead business development initiatives, strengthen existing client relationships and identify new growth opportunities regionally and nationally.
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers, contributing to the overall talent pipeline.

Required profile

• Current Commercial Litigation Partner with a demonstrable client following.
• Proven track record of generating profitable work and maintaining long‑term client relationships.
• Strong business development credentials and commercial awareness.
• Leadership experience and an entrepreneurial mindset.
