Commercial Litigation Solicitor – Junior (NQ‑2)

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its well‑regarded disputes team in Preston. This position offers exposure to a broad range of commercial litigation matters for private and public sector clients, ideal for an NQ‑2 solicitor looking to deepen dispute experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of contractual, shareholder, director, warranty, professional negligence, supply‑contract, restrictive‑covenant and media disputes.
• Support senior lawyers on more complex matters across the commercial litigation spectrum.
• Advise clients from inception to resolution and handle communications with clients, opponents, courts and third parties.
• Assist with new enquiries, business development activities and collaborative projects with wider teams.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the disputes team.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
• NQ‑2 years PQE in Commercial Litigation.
• Strong technical and drafting abilities with experience handling commercial disputes.
• Excellent organisation, time‑management and client‑care skills.
• Ability to juggle competing deadlines in a busy team environment.
• Commercial, pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
• Interest in business development and emerging technologies such as AI and legal tech (advantageous).
