Commercial Litigation Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Commercial Litigation team in Leeds. This position offers the chance to manage a diverse caseload of high‑value disputes while working alongside senior lawyers in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop your own portfolio of commercial dispute matters.
• Advise clients on contractual liability, property disputes, breach of directors' duties, trespass and nuisance claims.
• Support senior solicitors on complex, high‑value litigation projects.
• Liaise with clients, opposing parties, courts, counsel and other stakeholders.
• Operate within an insurance‑funded litigation framework, assessing policy coverage where relevant.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong technical knowledge of dispute resolution and litigation procedures.
• Experience in an insurance‑funded litigation environment and understanding of policy coverage issues.
• Familiarity with case management systems, preferably Salesforce.
