Commercial Litigation Solicitor – Wigan

About the role

G2 Legal Limited, a forward‑thinking firm in central Wigan, is expanding its Commercial Litigation team. You will join a Legal 500‑ranked practice renowned for debt recovery and asset finance work, collaborating with experienced solicitors on a varied caseload.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a mixed portfolio of commercial litigation and debt recovery matters.
  • Handle disputed liability order proceedings in Magistrates Courts.
  • Prepare and argue appeals to the High Court and Judicial Review applications.
  • Deal with winding‑up, bankruptcy petitions and straightforward collection cases.
  • Develop and maintain your own caseload while supporting senior team members.

Required profile

  • Qualified Litigation Solicitor (all areas of litigation considered).
  • Enthusiastic and ready to hit the ground running.
  • Committed to progressing within a specialist commercial litigation team.
