Commercial Maintenance Manager – Reactive & Planned

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Manager to lead reactive and planned maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. You will be the key point of contact for ensuring that all maintenance activities are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and small works projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely service delivery.
• Monitor budgets, schedules and performance against service level agreements.
• Resolve urgent maintenance issues and minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements.
• Produce operational and financial reports for senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing reactive maintenance, PPM and small works in commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of commercial building maintenance practices.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors, suppliers and budget control.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety standards and statutory compliance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Relevant certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, IWFM or a trade background are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAFM systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
