Commercial Manager – Engineering Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join a leading multi‑million‑pound engineering business operating in the nuclear, marine and renewable sectors. Based in Bristol with regular visits to the Hinckley Point C site, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success across marine, environmental and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise operational teams and ensure efficient delivery of projects.
• Lead commercial activities including tender preparation, quotation development and contract finalisation.
• Manage the supply of heavy‑lifting equipment to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with logistics and engineering teams to optimise project timelines and costs.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across the nuclear, marine and renewable sectors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations, logistics or commercial management within engineering or construction environments.
• Background in marine, environmental or construction projects is essential.
• Ability to commute to Bristol and Hinckley Point C.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on delivering value.
