About the role
The Commercial Manager will lead pre‑ and post‑contract commercial activities for the STEP fusion prototype programme. Working within Integrated Project Teams, you will provide expert advice across the full project lifecycle, from cost planning and procurement to final account agreement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for complex construction and engineering contracts.
- Manage financial performance, cost control and commercial assurance throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners and key suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Support alliancing and collaborative working models to achieve business objectives.
- Provide commercial risk analysis and mitigation recommendations.
Required profile
- Senior commercial professional with experience in large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and influence cross‑functional teams.
- Strong understanding of procurement, cost planning and contract management.
