Commercial Manager – Residential Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to lead residential conversion and interior fit‑out projects across the South East, South West and London. You will own the commercial, compliance and supply‑chain functions for multiple permitted‑development schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full commercial control – CVRs, cash‑flow forecasts, valuations and project accounts.
• Procure materials, negotiate subcontract packages and manage variations, payments and final accounts.
• Ensure contractual, technical and Employer’s Requirements are met, including RFIs, submittals and value‑engineering.
• Use construction management software to monitor progress and support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with project teams while working independently to drive commercial performance.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial experience – Commercial Manager, Director or senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Background in interior fit‑out within an SME, preferably with permitted‑development projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all stakeholder levels.
• Confident, articulate and able to influence outcomes.
