Commercial Meter Engineer – CT Metering Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Meter Engineer to install, commission and maintain current transformer (CT) metering systems across commercial sites in the South East of England. The role supports the company’s mission to deliver innovative energy data solutions as the UK moves towards Net Zero.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain CT metering equipment on commercial premises.
• Test installations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide high‑quality service and technical support to commercial customers.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures during field work.
• Progress into high‑voltage metering and mentoring responsibilities as experience grows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial CT metering installation.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (18th Edition) and a valid MOCoPA.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Motivation to develop through further training.

Required skills

• CT metering installation and commissioning.
• Electrical installations (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).
• MOCoPA certification.
• Understanding of commercial electrical systems.
