Commercial Plumber – 5‑Week Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber for a 5‑week labour‑only installation project in Colne, starting 27 July. The contract involves replacing and installing domestic water services within a commercial building.

Key responsibilities

• Remove existing copper pipework and retain materials on site.
• Install new domestic water services following existing routes where appropriate.
• Fit brackets and supports for phenolic insulation blocks.
• Fit all associated valves, fittings, supports, TMVs and thermal expansion vessels.
• Install phenolic insulation and apply identification labeling.
• Carry out isolations, drain‑downs, flushing and recommissioning of water systems.
• Perform pressure testing of new pipework in line with industry standards.
• Sleeve and fire‑stop all wall and floor penetrations.
• Maintain a clean working environment and remove installation waste.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial Plumber.
• Experience installing domestic water services in commercial buildings.
• Ability to work independently from drawings and specifications.
• Valid CSCS/JIB Plumbing Card (preferred).
• Own tools and personal protective equipment.
• Available to start on 27 July for the full 5‑week period.
