Commercial Plumber

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Plumber to join Sureserve’s nationwide team, delivering high‑quality heating and hot‑water solutions to social housing and public sector clients. You will work on a variety of commercial premises, ensuring plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair pipes, joins, valves, drains and fixtures across commercial sites.
• Diagnose plumbing faults, propose cost‑effective solutions and carry out repairs promptly.
• Collaborate with general contractors, surveyors and other trades to integrate plumbing works during new builds or renovations.
• Adhere to health and safety legislation, complete risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH records.
• Maintain accurate job logs, record material usage and prepare cost estimates for bids.
• Respond to out‑of‑hours emergency call‑outs, providing rapid diagnosis and repair to prevent further damage.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues early.

Required profile

• Qualified plumber with relevant certification and proven experience in commercial settings.
• Self‑motivated, flexible and able to work effectively within a team.
• Strong communication skills for professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to produce required documentation.
