Commercial Property Manager

About the role

As our Commercial Property Manager you will manage a varied portfolio of around 50 retail spaces initially, alongside commercial, office and mixed‑use properties. You will oversee the full property‑management lifecycle, including inspections, lease compliance, tenant applications, maintenance, rent collection, service charges, insurance and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of retail, commercial, office and mixed‑use properties, ensuring compliance with leases and regulations.
• Act as the main point of contact for tenants and occupiers, building effective relationships and providing advice to asset owners.
• Monitor lease events, lead rent reviews and renewals, and coordinate contractors and professional advisers.
• Maintain vacant units secure and market‑ready.
• Oversee budgets, arrears, expenditure, rent deposits and client account activity in line with lease, regulatory and RICS Client Money Protection requirements.

Required profile

• MRICS‑qualified Chartered Surveyor with relevant property‑management experience.
• Experience managing commercial and mixed‑use property portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of commercial leases, landlord‑tenant legislation, service‑charge management, property compliance and health‑and‑safety legislation.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, expenditure, arrears and produce financial reports.
• Proficiency in property‑management systems and Microsoft Office, with a track record of clear recommendations and reporting.
