Commercial Property Partner – Leeds

About the role

Join a leading regional law firm in Leeds as a Commercial Property Partner. You will work with a diverse client base across Yorkshire, handling development, investment and corporate occupier matters while contributing to the growth of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of commercial property transactions, including development, investment and corporate occupier work.
• Manage and develop relationships with existing clients throughout Yorkshire and the wider region.
• Act for developers, investors, corporate occupiers and private clients on complex deals.
• Support the strategic development and expansion of the Commercial Property team.
• Collaborate with the Head of Property on departmental initiatives and business planning.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking and relationship building.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team.
• Contribute to the firm’s broader business development and marketing activities.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with significant post‑qualification experience, already operating at Partner level.
• Proven track record handling a wide variety of commercial property matters, especially development and investment work.
• Strong client‑relationship management skills and a commercially focused approach.
• Existing network of contacts and demonstrated business‑development capability.
• Experience in winning, retaining and growing client relationships.
• Prior experience mentoring and leading junior team members.
