Commercial Property & Real Estate Development Solicitor (1-4 PQE)

About the role

This is a permanent, hybrid position within a Legal 500‑recognised, Lexcel‑accredited firm. You will join a well‑established Real Estate Development and Housebuilding team, advising developers, housebuilders and landowners across the Thames Valley on the full lifecycle of property development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act on acquisitions and disposals of development land.
• Advise on option agreements, promotion agreements and strategic land matters.
• Draft and negotiate planning agreements, infrastructure agreements and easements.
• Support secured lending transactions and residential plot sales.
• Provide guidance on Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) issues.
• Assist business development and client relationship management.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 1–4 years PQE.
• Experience in commercial property or real estate, preferably with exposure to development or housebuilding.
• Strong technical legal skills and attention to detail.
• Commercially aware and client‑focused.
• Motivated to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
