Commercial Property Solicitor – Full‑Time (Flexible)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Commercial Property Solicitor to join our Sutton Coldfield office on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial property matters, delivering high‑quality legal advice to our business and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle commercial property sales and acquisitions from negotiation to completion.
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases, licences and related documentation.
• Advise landlords and tenants on their rights and obligations.
• Support property development projects, including pension property investments.
• Liaise with lenders and financial institutions on funding arrangements.
• Manage transaction processes, including Land Registry filings and SDLT considerations.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 3 years of experience in commercial property law.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of commercial leases and licences.
• Understanding of property development and pension investment transactions.
• Familiarity with Land Registry procedures and SDLT regulations.
