About the role

Our client, a well‑established provincial law firm in central Essex, is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to take over a busy caseload. The role offers a tranquil office environment with hybrid working flexibility and minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to private investors, developers, public companies, pension funds, banks, retailers and leisure operators.
• Handle landlord and tenant matters, property finance, commercial property sales and acquisitions.
• Manage private lending, minerals and waste management issues.
• Oversee sale and purchase of development sites, plot sales, option agreements, promotion agreements and overage agreements.
• Draft and negotiate s.106 agreements and other statutory agreements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial property law.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong client‑facing skills and commercial awareness.
