Commercial Property Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

A respected Yorkshire law firm is expanding its Leeds office and seeks an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor with around two years of post‑qualification experience. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while working closely with the Head of Department to shape the future of the commercial property team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of commercial property transactions, including sales, acquisitions, leases, and refinancing.
• Handle landlord and tenant matters and support development projects.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department on complex deals and provide appropriate supervision to junior staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agents, lenders and other professional contacts.
• Participate in networking and business‑development activities across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire market.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with approximately two years PQE in commercial property law.
• Commercially minded with a desire to take ownership of work and contribute to department growth.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to client relationship management.
