Commercial Property Solicitor – Real Estate Associate (Glasgow)

About the role

We are seeking a Scottish‑qualified Real Estate Lawyer with at least four years of post‑qualification experience to join our busy Glasgow office. The role offers exposure to high‑value investment and development projects, major Scottish and cross‑border transactions, and a client base that includes UK and international investors, funds and institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on acquisitions, disposals and asset‑management matters for investors, funds and institutions.
• Handle lettings, lease variations, and negotiate sale‑and‑purchase contracts.
• Manage retail, shopping‑centre, large commercial property and student‑accommodation transactions across Scotland.
• Support corporate transactions with Scottish real‑estate elements and act for lenders on high‑value financings.
• Collaborate with English and US firms on cross‑border portfolio work.
• Take ownership of individual transactions while contributing to larger, multi‑party deals.

Required profile

• 4+ years PQE in Scottish real‑estate law.
• Experience with title review, leases and negotiating sale‑and‑purchase contracts.
• Worked across office, industrial and retail property matters.
• Strong commercial, pragmatic approach and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Enjoys collaborative work, supporting junior colleagues and developing client relationships.
