Commercial Refrigeration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join a well‑established provider of commercial catering equipment and kitchen solutions for the hospitality sector. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of commercial refrigeration systems, with occasional work on catering equipment. The role is based in London (with travel to Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire) and offers a salary of £45,000‑£55,000 (OTE £60,000).

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on cold rooms, walk‑in refrigerators, freezers and cellar cooling units.
• Perform occasional servicing and repair of commercial catering equipment.
• Complete all work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Provide a professional on‑site service and build positive customer relationships.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer, Refrigeration Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer or similar role.
• Valid F‑Gas qualification.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Reliable, professional approach to work.
• Full UK driving licence.
