Commercial Roofing Estimator

About the role

We are looking for an Estimator with experience in metal or flat commercial roofs and specialist building envelopes. You will play a key role in producing accurate and competitive tenders for a range of commercial and public sector projects while enjoying a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑tender and pre‑contract façade surveys to identify condition, substrate, fixings and refurbishment requirements.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, architects and structural engineers.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, cost breakdowns, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Analyse drawings and specifications, conduct site surveys and assess project risks.
• Support commercial and project teams throughout the construction phase.

Required profile

• Estimator or similar background with experience in metal and flat roofs or specialist envelopes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications and survey reports.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with post‑Grenfell fire safety remediation projects and EWS1 assessments (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.
