Commercial Roofing Supervisor (Full‑time)

About the role

Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Supervisor to lead a team of technicians delivering maintenance, repairs and inspections across a varied portfolio of commercial properties in South West England. The role combines hands‑on roofing work with supervisory responsibilities in a full‑time permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a crew of commercial roofing technicians on‑site.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive roof repairs and roof inspections.
• Perform scheduled gutter cleaning and drainage maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain mechanical fall‑protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, RAMS, POWRAs and company procedures.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site representatives and customers.
• Produce accurate digital job reports with photographic evidence.
• Monitor team productivity, safety and schedule adherence.
• Inspect vehicles, equipment and PPE; identify additional repair needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commercial Roofer, Roofing Supervisor, Roofing Team Leader or Roof Maintenance Engineer.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise or mentor a roofing team.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Good understanding of working‑at‑height regulations and safe systems of work.
• Full UK driving licence.
