Commercial Solicitor – 6+ PQE – Cambridge

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including collaboration arrangements, joint ventures, procurement and outsourcing contracts.
• Provide strategic advice to universities, charities, public bodies and technology businesses.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with senior lawyers on high‑value matters.
• Support the team in delivering innovative solutions for cross‑border projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law.
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.
• Interest in developing expertise in education, government and technology sectors.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with commercial contracts and advisory work.
