About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced commercial solicitors to join its national consultancy model as self‑employed consultants. The position offers a modern, flexible way to practise law, allowing you to build your own client base while benefiting from full firm support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of commercial matters with confidence.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to generate revenue.
• Deliver high‑quality legal advice and representation in line with the firm’s standards.
• Collaborate with the compliance, admin and accounts teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven ability to handle a substantial caseload independently.
• Minimum billing of £100,000 per annum (or £8,000 per month).
• Existing client following is highly desirable.
