Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a reputable franchise‑approved dealership in Avonmouth. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, handling parts enquiries and ensuring accurate identification and dispatch of parts for commercial vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to trade and retail customer parts enquiries via face‑to‑face, email and telephone.
• Identify and process parts orders for collection or next‑day dispatch.
• Maintain high standards of customer service throughout all interactions.
• Carry out parts stock control and inventory management.
• Supply parts to HGV technicians efficiently and cover for the Parts Delivery Driver when required.
• Maintain accurate records using electronic parts catalogue systems (experience with Kerridge/Keyloop advantageous).

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchised automotive dealership or motor factor business.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with electronic parts catalogues.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with robust organisational skills.
