Commis Chef – Hotel Kitchen Team

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at Alvaston Hall, a historic 253‑bedroom hotel in the Warner Hotels group. Working alongside experienced chefs, you will help deliver high‑quality dishes and support smooth kitchen operations in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs with the preparation and cooking of menu items.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Help with stock control, receiving deliveries and organizing storage.
• Support the kitchen team during service periods to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Keep workstations tidy and adhere to health and safety procedures.
