Commissioning Engineer – Lighting Controls

About the role

Hayden Nash Consultants is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to lead the programming and commissioning of lighting control systems across projects in London and the South East. You will work closely with design and project teams to ensure installations meet client specifications and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning and programming of lighting control systems on site.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, test installations, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and provide client training on system operation.
• Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions comply with building management and energy management requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in lighting control system commissioning.
• Strong understanding of DALI protocols and modular wiring solutions.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with engineers and clients.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality documentation.
