Commissioning Engineer – Lighting

About the role

We are an expanding designer and manufacturer seeking an experienced engineer to lead the commissioning and programming of lighting control systems for projects across London and the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Commission, program and test lighting control installations to meet client specifications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide diagnostic solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct on‑site inspections and verify system performance.
• Deliver client training on system functionality and operation.
• Maintain detailed documentation and interface with engineering stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in lighting control engineering.
• Strong understanding of building management and energy management applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions.
